The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB), Vermont's independent health care regulatory agency, is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator to help support the work that shapes health care policy, transparency, and public engagement across the state.
This position serves as a key member of our administrative team, coordinating the day-to-day operations that keep the agency running smoothly. From supporting public Board meetings and regulatory processes to coordinating communications, records management, and organizational workflows, this role helps ensure the Board's work is transparent, accessible, and effective. You'll have the opportunity to learn how Vermont's health care regulatory system operates while developing expertise in government administration, project coordination, and public service.

Work is performed in a standard office setting.
Four (4) years of full-time college level study OR a Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field.
OR
Three (3) years of full-time college level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND one (1) year or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff.
OR
Two (2) years of full-time college level study OR an Associate's degree or higher in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND two (2) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff.
OR
One (1) year of full-time college level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND three (3) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff.
OR
High school diploma or equivalent AND four (4) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff.
OR
One (1) year or more as an Administrative Services Coordinator II with the State of Vermont
Only administrative work experience is qualifying. Administrative support includes those functions which keep the organization running or provide the resources for others to provide the programmatic work (e.g., accounting, budget management, grant administration, finance, human resources, payroll, purchasing, or space management).
For some positions experience working with the VISION system (VISION is the State of Vermont PeopleSoft financial management system) may be required.
