Reporting to the Shipping Specialist, the Administrative Shipping Clerk is responsible for the administrative duties related to all billing and shipping requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Administrative duties related to all billing and shipping requirements
· Documents and processes the order shipment
· Allocate shipping orders using a warehouse management system
· Route orders to be shipped and picked up
· Read and review picking schedule and follow it
· Complete shipping and receiving reports
· Logistics (air ground shipments, export documents)
· Works with other departments and vendors to ensure timely inbound and outbound deliveries
· Run reports from various systems and forward to appropriate personnel
· Billing and preparation of packing slips, BOLs and related documents
· File bills of lading and other documents
· Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
· Strong data entry and computer skills in MS Office Excel and Word. Knowledge of MS Access an asset.
· Ability to work overtime is required
· Time management and prioritizing skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Team player
· Trouble shooting and problem solving skills
· Ability to learn and adapt to various computer software
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Secondary school diploma preferred
· 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
· Must be able to walk long distances, push, pull, stoop, bend, squat, sit
· Excellent attendance and safety record.
