Title: Administrative Specialist
Location: Chicago, IL 60626
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages and manage email correspondence.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and other departmental events.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets using Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
- Manage SharePoint sites, ensuring proper organization and accessibility of documents and resources.
- Automate administrative processes and spreadsheets to improve efficiency.
- Assist with the administration of workers' compensation and other healthcare-related tasks.
- Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the Health Services team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
- Experience with SharePoint, including creating and managing sites.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Understanding of workers' compensation processes is a plus.
