What is PACE North? PACE stands for Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly. We are a popular option for individuals 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility level of care and wish to remain in their homes as they age. What does that mean? We care for the elderly daily both at our state-of-the-art day center on Garfield near Hammond during regular business hours Monday through Friday and as needed in their home.

What does an Administrative Support Clerk at PACE North do?

  • This role is a key part of our PACE North Community Outreach team!
  • You’ll provide support to our enrollment, intake, and outreach team, including fielding incoming calls, scheduling home visits, and triaging referrals for initial eligibility requirements.
  • This role is also responsible for meticulous data management, document preparation, and direct communication with potential program participants and their families.
  • You may also support outreach events at our facilities and in the community.
  • Finally, you'll be able to provide PACE North participants with the most cheerful and professional leadership they've ever received!
  • Please note this is a full-time, in-person opportunity.

Requirements

What qualifications should you bring to the table?

  • You should have some experience in healthcare or social service clerical support, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • We’re looking for someone who
  1. Has strong organizational skills, can work with minimal supervision and is adaptable.
  2. Is friendly, outgoing and curious, and can ask the right questions.
  3. Is thoughtful, appreciative, and kind.
  4. Can navigate Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other software products effortlessly.
  5. Is a great match with our Core Values.
  6. Is that special person who loves serving the elderly with a positive, compassionate, and caring approach.
  • Current, valid Michigan Driver License with current auto insurance.
