Admission Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

The position of Admission Specialist (AS) is responsible for the intake of all visitors into the clinic, including subjects for screening and admission, sponsors, monitors, vendors, and any other visitors. The AS will also order all meals and supplies for the clinic studies and maintain expense reports.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Entering subject information into Clinical Conductor and/or another sponsor-requested database.
• Maintenance of database information in Clinical Conductor and/or other required databases
• Payment of subject stipends through Clinical Conductor or another sponsor-requested program.
• Verify subjects in VCT
• Assist in the preparation of screening documents.
• Work closely with the Screening Supervisor and RA Supervisor to ensure the smooth intake of subjects into the clinic.
• Assist with tracking expenses (e.g., AMEX expenses)
• Maintain the front desk area in functionality and appearance.
• Maintain food vendor relationships and order food for clinic participants.
• Other duties as assigned.

For NYC, the salary range is up to $22.00/Hr.

Requirements

• The position requires at least a high school diploma.
• Exceptional clerical skills, telephone skills, and professionalism are expected. 
• Computer skills, including a basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications, and Internet browser functions are required. 
• Experience in subject verification platforms, time tracking applications, travel management applications, and Adobe Illustrator is desirable.
