Job Description - Admissions Coordinator

Description

Position Summary:

The Admissions Coordinator consults with potential clients to assess and provide recommendations for the appropriate program and/or facility to recommend for treatment, based on the client’s clinical presentation and needs. The Coordinator facilitates tracking and documenting the disposition of potential clients from initial call, verification of benefits, pre-admissions assessment, and hand-off to facility, up to and including admission.   

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2+ years of working in Behavioral Healthcare preferred.  
  • Call Center and Admissions experience in Behavioral Healthcare preferred. 
  •  Proficiency in typing average 40 wpm
