Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida and Tennessee. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services and foster care. What will you do as a Admissions Coordinator?
As an Admissions Coordinator in the Residential department, you will be responsible for managing referral and admissions processes in all aspects by collaborating with stakeholders and internal Thompson departments and staff.
A typical day as an Admissions Coordinator will include navigating referral reviews, tracking and setting up admissions and managing overall census across residential continuum.
As an Admissions Coordinator, this position is typically M-F during business hours and in person on residential campus.

Starting Pay Range:$43k-48k annually

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Education requirement for this individual contributor role is: Bachelor’s degree required.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, Excellent written and oral communication skills, highly organized, excellent time management and convincing/persuasive public speaker and communicator.
Reside in Charlotte or surrounding areas, this position requires in office support
Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
