Position Overview
The Adolescent Therapist at HealthOp plays a critical role in delivering therapeutic care to adolescents in a residential treatment setting. This role supports our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality mental health services that promote lasting well-being for young individuals and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to adolescents in care
Develop and monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to client needs
Collaborate with families, schools, and support systems to promote client progress
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical case consultations
Respond to client crises and support behavioral de-escalation when needed
Stay current with best practices and emerging research in adolescent mental health
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
Current Arizona licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or eligibility to obtain licensure
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with adolescents in a therapeutic setting
Proficiency in adolescent development and common behavioral health diagnoses
Preferred: Experience in trauma-informed care and family-based interventions
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
Current Arizona licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or eligibility to obtain licensure
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with adolescents in a therapeutic setting
Proficiency in adolescent development and common behavioral health diagnoses

Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 annually
