Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to provide grant/fiscal program management by planning, developing and evaluating multiple existing and new projects adult education deals with to ensure compliance with each project’s budget and programmatic requirements. Some of the programs/grants that this position will work with include Maine College and Career Access (MCCA); Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA); Maine Jobs and Recovery Program (MJRP); Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment (HOPE); MaineSpark and others. The position will also help ensure that there is coordination of efforts among team members and interrelated projects. In addition, the program management position will collaborate and enhance relationships with workforce, and educational agencies in the development and implementation of projects related to advancing the learners’ educational and skills attainment for success in the workplace.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in grant management and adult education programs.
