Adults Pastor (Women's and Groups) | 32 hours/week | $49,600-52,000/yr + Benefits

Description

Working with the Adults Ministry Team, the Adults Pastors provide opportunities for adults to connect, grow, and serve at CTK. This pastor will focus specifically on women's ministry and groups in addition to working on all-Adults initiatives. 

Essential Functions

• Women’s Ministries 
  • Create opportunities for women at CTK to connect, grow and serve each quarter
  • Provide oversight for key volunteers and leaders for midweek women’s Bible studies
  • Serve as a liaison between CTK and Collide Ministries.
  • Provide oversight and support for the Women’s Sewing Group leadership, Prayer Shawl leadership team and Moms in Prayer
• Groups
  • Identify, recruit, train, and deploy individuals and couples as small group leaders
  • Provide continued support and development for small group leaders as they serve
  • Work with the Adult Ministry Team to create vision and strategy for groups at CTK 
• Participate in all-Adults team initiatives
• Perform all pastoral duties (POC, commons duties, sacerdotal duties).
  • Follow up with and care for prayer requests as assigned 
• Any additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor or the Network Executive Team

Requirements

• Owns and can articulate the mission and values of CTK
• Excellent at identifying, recruiting, training, deploying, and supporting volunteers
• Experienced in coaching small group leaders and understands group dynamics
• Demonstrated results-driven desire and track record
• Engaging verbal and written communication
• Demonstrated people-smarts and emotional intelligence
• Strong leadership and strategic vision
• Understanding in current trends in discipleship
• Pastoral care and volunteer leadership experience
• Good listening and communication skills; providing feedback, de escalating conflict, team collaboration
