If your answer is “YES,” then keep reading—this could be the job of your dreams.  In this hybrid role, you will perform installations and provide customer service and customer training of standard MVP products and all Advanced Equipment at our Knoxville Manufacturing Center in Lenoir City and travel to other states as well.

What You Will Do: 

• Participate in AE equipment assembly, testing and diagnosing issues as needed at our production facility in Knoxville, TN
• Oversee equipment breakdown and packaging for shipment as needed
• On-site installation of equipment and customer training for maintenance and operation 
• Technical assistance for existing equipment, either over the phone or in person 
• Determination and documentation of any replacement parts required for existing equipment 
• Interface with Engineering regarding equipment improvements
• Participate in preparation of manuals and other documentation
• Other Projects as assigned

Requirements

What You Will Need:

• 3-5 years of manufacturing or maintenance technician experience working with various types of equipment
• School Diploma or GED or Associates Degree in related technical field or Technical Certifications preferred
• Valid Driver’s License  and Valid Passport
• Basic Computer Skills including MS Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of PLC’s and electronics
• Uphold MVP company values (Family. Friendly. Forward.) and strong customer service skills
• Strong technical diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage short- and long-term projects concurrently, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Rockwell products.
• Forklift and Hoist Certifications
• Lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Other physical activity include sitting, standing, reaching, grasping, kneeling and bending
•  Ability to travel 50% to 60% of time for On-site installations can be up to 21-2 weeks at a time
