The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced medical setting while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule, coordinate, and confirm patient appointments.
  • Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Coordinate referrals, consultations, and follow-up appointments.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and assist patients with scheduling and general inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Process medical records, correspondence, and other administrative documentation.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while supporting efficient clinic operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Office Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical office, hospital, outpatient clinic, or healthcare setting.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical scheduling software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer applications.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

I actually like this better than the RFQ language because it's broad enough to attract candidates from hospitals, physician offices, specialty clinics, urgent care centers, and large medical groups, while still meeting the intent of the solicitation.

Benefits
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
  • Other benefits determined by position, duration, and hours.
