Job Description - Advanced Practice Practitioner - Pediatrics - Cedar City

POSITION SUMMARY:


Revere Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our team in Cedar City, UT. The ideal candidate is dedicated to high‑quality, patient‑centered care and excited to support families and children across all stages of growth and development.


 


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care by evaluating symptoms, performing assessments, and managing acute and chronic health conditions.

  • Diagnose and treat illnesses such as infections, asthma, diabetes, behavioral concerns, and other pediatric conditions.

  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments as appropriate.

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, test results, healthy habits, disease prevention, and overall wellness.

  • Administer immunizations and preventive care services.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.

  • Refer patients to appropriate specialists when needed.

  • Participate actively in Revere Health’s value‑based care initiatives.

  • Prepare required medical records, forms, and health documents.

  • Support patients receiving ongoing or long‑term care.


 


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Current and valid National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

  • Active Utah licensure and DEA registration.

  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, especially with pediatric patients and families.

  • Highly organized and capable of managing clinical documentation efficiently within the EMR.

  • Commitment to quality care, patient safety, and ongoing professional development.
