Advanced Practice Provider for Weekend Hospital

Position Overview: Atlanta Diabetes Associates is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team on a PRN basis for weekend shifts at Piedmont Hospital. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to our endocrine patients on Saturdays and Sundays, collaborating with our physicians and care team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Develop, implement, and adjust patient treatment plans as needed.
• Prescribe medications and therapies tailored to patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions and treatments.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Requirements:

• Active Advanced Practice Provider license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs).

Compensation:

• If work exceeds 6 hours: $750 for the first 6 hours + $125 per additional hour

Schedule:

• Saturday and Sunday (PRN) – Must be available a minimum of every other weekend.
