Position Overview

As we continue to grow, TCAVI is seeking a patient-centered Advanced Practice Provider (APP)—either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)—with a strong interest or background in cardiology. This role will be based primarily in our Gainesville offices and affiliated hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in both clinic and acute care settings.

• Manage and evaluate assigned office patients; order diagnostic tests, manage prescriptions, and refer as appropriate.

• Collaborate closely with physicians and other APPs on hospital consults and rounds.

• Conduct patient histories, perform documentation, order tests, and manage medications.

• Supervise stress tests and manage additional orders as required.

• Maintain accurate, timely care documentation.

• Stay current with CME, licensure, and hospital privileges.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program; Board Certification required.

• Cardiology experience preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.

• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient satisfaction and teamwork.
