 Winchester Cardiology and Vascular Medicine (WCVM), along with Panhandle Cardiology, stands as the premier cardiology practice in the northern Shenandoah Valley. We offer an attractive compensation package, including two medical plans with no cost to employees, Dental and Vision coverage, and additional supplemental coverages such as Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity. About the Position

• Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley WCVM is the largest and most established cardiology practice serving the Shenandoah Valley and the Panhandle of West Virginia.
• WCVM is seeking to add advanced practice clinicians to our team. All candidates should have clinical competency and expertise in caring for cardio-vascular patients.
• All Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Virginia Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License.
• WCVM utilizes a care team model pairing 1 APC with 1 - 2 physicians.
• Job responsibilities are split between hospital, and clinic.
• 3-6 month onboarding and training program dependent level of expertise.
• No or Limited night and weekend call responsibility.
• Comfort with EKG interpretation, post-surgical management, cardiac medications and interventions a must.
• All candidates must be US citizens as no Visa positions are available.

About our Practice

• WCVM opened a new office in March of 2020. The 30,000 sq. ft. clinic connects to the cardiovascular lab and inpatient hospital. In addition, we have satellite clinics in Martinsburg W.V. and provide outreach services at Valley Health Multi-specialty clinics. WCVM leases its professional services and staff to Valley Health through a professional service lease arrangement.
• Our team includes 14 Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinicians, interventional cardiologists, non-invasive cardiologists,  
• 2 advanced heart failure specialists, 2 structural heart specialist and 3 electrophysiologists. At Winchester Medical Center, we provide cardiovascular consultative and procedural services.
• We utilize EPIC as our EMR both in the clinic and hospital setting.
• We have a complete diagnostic testing facility onsite with an active Nuclear Department offering SPECT, up-to-date all digital echo lab, full vascular lab. The WCVM Cardiovascular Imaging Center accredited through ICAEL, ICAVL and ICANL.
