Job Summary:
Our team is looking for a passionate temporary ARNP to contribute WellView Care’s, Inc. mission to provide health care service to our community by advocating for persons seeking testing or medical assistance such as treatment management of HIV HEP C and other STD’S. The ARNP/PA will work closely with medical staff to accommodate walk-in patients to provide treatment plans, case management medical assessment from a recovery-oriented perspective in a professional and compassionate manner
Title: Advanced Register Nurse Practitioner
Reporting to: Medical Director / President
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Systematically assess patient information collected from various sources within the practice and self to formulate a plan and prognosis based on the patient's condition
- Orders and administers diagnostic testing
- Utilizes data interpretation and evaluation to order diagnostic tests
- Conducts patient physical examinations, evaluates diagnostic test, makes diagnoses, and provides medication prescriptions
- Communicates test results to patients and families with professionalism and empathy
- Develop and implements treatment or prevention strategies as required
- Accurately documents all patient interactions and medical history
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary affiliated organizations such as physician or specialist to make appropriate referrals and consultation Such as with the FDOH
- Operates and maintains medical equipment
- Fosters patient and family decision making by providing educational tools and patient engagement to continue seek treatment at WellView Care
- Providing compassionate patient support and care, attention, and assistance during office visits
- Complies with all OSHA and HIPPA policies along with all policies and procedures established by WellView Care
Additional Duties:
- Maintains strict patient and employee confidentiality.
- Attends all mandatory staff meetings
Minimum Required Qualifications &Experience:
- Minimum 1-year prior ARNP experience, preferably in testing and treatment management or a closely aligned specialty with a genuine interest in learning

Skills:
- Ability to use sound reasoning and judgment and react calmly in emergency situations required.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, volunteers, and the public.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Education:
- Master of Science degree in relevant field.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
Certifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification in Family Medicine, preferred
Licenses:
- Current active State of Florida License as an ARNP
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to stand for long periods of time, push, pull, and reach, occasionally bend, sit, stoop, and stretch.
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment. Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Have a normal range of hearing and eyesight, including color vision, depth perception, close and distant vision, and the ability to focus.

Schedule: Monday – Friday /9 am to 5 pm
