Job Description - Advancement Assistant (NE) (Current Opportunity) - Archbishop Spalding High School, Seven MD

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our fundraising efforts and enhancing our community engagement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the mission of our school while working in a collaborative environment.


Essential Functions:



  • Database Management: Maintain and update the Raiser’s Edge and NXT databases, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of donor and alumni information.

  • Gift Processing: Process donations and gifts promptly, generate acknowledgment letters and maintain proper records.

  • Data Entry: Enter and manage data related to fundraising efforts, events, and donor communications.

  • Event Planning: Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, coordination with vendors, and volunteer management.

  • Team Support: Provide administrative support to the Advancement Team, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and managing communications.

  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports from the database to track progress toward fundraising goals and inform strategy.

  • Digital Fundraising: Support and create online fundraising efforts through Give Campus and other platforms, assisting with campaign setup and monitoring.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks assigned to support the overall goals of the Advancement Office.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms). Experience with Raiser’s Edge and Raiser’s Edge NXT databases.

  • Familiarity with Give Campus, GiveSmart, or similar digital fundraising platforms is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.


Pay Range: 50,000 to 65,000 Annualized
