The Role: Under the direction of the Community Intervention Manager, the Violence Response Team (VRT) Advocate provides direct supportive services and advocacy for survivors who have experienced domestic/dating violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, stalking, and sextortion in the greater Sacramento metropolitan area. The VRT Advocate is essential to WEAVE's Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Sex Trafficking efforts in the community. Primary duties include establishing and maintaining a collaborative relationship at the designated Law Enforcement agency to form strong connections with survivors and Law Enforcement, providing crisis intervention and accompaniments, safety planning, and offering strengths-based case management as needed.

Compensation: The wage range for this position is $22.40-$26.34 per hour.
