Aerospace Manufacturing Associate

Westaff Now Hiring Aerospace Manufacturing workers in Portland, CT!

***This includes availabilities for both finishers and polishers or grinder machine operators***

Shifts & Pay:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Friday)


• 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM (Monday–Friday)


• Pay Rate: $18–$26 per hour, based on experience and position

Finishers / Polishers Requirements :

• Polish, sand, deburr, and finish metal components


• Ensure high-quality surface appearance


• Operate hand and power finishing tools


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Grinder Machine Operators Requirements:

• Set up and operate precision grinding machines


• Read blueprints and follow technical instructions


• Conduct measurements and in-process quality checks


• Maintain machines and follow shop safety procedures

Requirements for Grinder Machine Operators and Finisher/ Polishers: 

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Strong attention to detail and reliability


• Previous manufacturing experience preferred


• Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company
