Aesthetician

We are currently seeking an Aesthetician to join our partner clinic, Shewmake Plastic Surgery in their location in Little Rock, Arkansas. Shewmake Plastic Surgery offers state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical procedures by a team of highly experienced professionals who love what they do.

This great opportunity is available for an Aesthetician who is outgoing, patient-centered, and self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule:

Mon-Thurs: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Fri: 8:30 am to 1:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Providing skin care treatments.
• Adhering to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring time schedule.
• Welcome clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms, and thanking them sincerely on departure.
• Interviewing clients to obtain information about contraindications, and examining skin to evaluate the suitability of treatments.
• Advising clients on skincare and recommending suitable treatments and home care regimens.
• Engaging and conversing with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests.
• Maintaining product knowledge to promote and sell spa and salon services, and retail products.
• Adhering to esthetics policies pertaining to chemical usage, and cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements:

• Arkansas Esthetician License.
• 3 or more years of experience with a proven track record of building a book of clients.
• Excellent communication skills and follow-through.
• Experience working in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery office is a plus.
• Experience in performing consultations, cross-promoting services and skincare products, and the ability to close sales.
• Hands-on experience in the use of cosmetic lasers and light-based therapy, micro-needling, microdermabrasion, skin peel, HydraFacial’s, PRP, laser hair removal, brows, acne treatment, skincare products, and other aesthetic care treatments.
• Ability to develop client relationships and grow your practice of clients.
• Proven track record of patient service commitment to excellence.
• Availability to work Monday - Friday. Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30AM - 5:00PM, Friday 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM.
