After School Nanny - San Jose, CA

A family in San Jose, CA 95126 is seeking an active, reliable, and communicative babysitter for their 4-year-old son starting August 6th. The ideal caregiver is energetic enough to enjoy walking pick-ups and park play, and comfortable driving him to local after-school activities. 

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday


• First two weeks (August 6 – August 20): 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (30 hours/week)


• After August 20: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (20 hours/week)


• Start Date: August 6th

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home


• Primary communication via text/WhatsApp

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily school/daycare pick-ups on foot (school is within walking distance)


• Transport the child in your vehicle to local after-school activities and trips to the park


• Provide engaging, active care and supervision until parents finish their day


• Assist with basic afternoon routines and light snack prep

Requirements:

• Safe vehicle and valid driver's license


• Active and physically able to walk for school pick-ups and take to the park


• Fluent in English with strong communication skills (via text/WhatsApp)

Preferred:

• Mandarin language skills are a bonus 

Compensation:

• $25–$30 per hour (commensurate with experience) + federal mileage reimbursement for transportation
