Aftercare Coordinator

Berean Christian School is seeking a full-time Aftercare Director. The Aftercare Director position requires availability from 10:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday. 

Candidates must have a passion for serving God in the context of education. A relationship with Jesus Christ and viewing your position as a ministry is essential. Berean Christian School is the largest ministry of Grace Fellowship, and as such candidates must be a regular attending member in good standing at a church of “like-faith”. Responsibilities can include: 

• Oversee aftercare staff schedules, student sign-in and sign-out, parent communication, monitoring of safety/supervision standards, etc...

• Assisting enrichment/specials classes 

• Assisting teachers with grading, bulletin boards, copying and any other projects 

• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school 

• Oversee students during recess, lunch or when necessary in the classroom  

• Oversee playground materials 

• Escort students to the school nurse, office or other areas on campus 

• Assist with carline and dismissal 

• All other duties as assigned by BCS Administration
