AfterCare Teacher

Hours of Operation:  Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

As the After-Care Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of our program. Your responsibilities will include:

• Program planning, implementation, and evaluation.


• Supervising and supporting after-school staff, including instructors and support personnel.


• Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.


• Collaborating with school personnel, parents, and guardians to maintain open communication and address any concerns.


• Developing and leading engaging enrichment activities that align with our program's goals and curriculum.


• Providing academic support and homework assistance to students as needed.


• Assisting with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, record-keeping, and reporting.


• Contributing to the creation of a positive and motivating atmosphere that fosters students' personal and social development.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in an after-school program, educational setting, or youth development.


• Strong organizational and leadership skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic administrative tasks.


• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
