Job Description - Afternoon Admission Support and After School Care Representative

Description

STATUS:

Non-Exempt (hourly)

Full-time/30 hours per week/12 month

12:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday 

Position Description: Under the supervision of the Director of Admission and Director of Auxiliary, the Afternoon Admission Support and After School Care Representative is responsible for working in a demanding environment with regular times of high pressure in which a professional, calm demeanor and strong organizational skills were essential to consistently meet job requirements. The Admission Support and After School Care Representative must have significant experience with customer service.

Qualifications: High School diploma with 3 years of experience in a comparable position; excellent verbal and written communications skills; impeccable organization and management skills; creative in approaches and resourceful; confidential; efficient time management and prioritization. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent(s) will possess the skills, aptitudes and abilities to perform each duty successfully; and professes faith in Jesus Christ and accepts statement of faith of MPCS.

Physical Requirements: Lifting boxes and other packages not exceeding 20 pounds; ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; excellent cognitive and hearing abilities.

Requirements

  • Accept the work at MPCS as a personal calling and identify as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Manage the front desk and quickly stabilizing initial communication of unexpected events while smoothly managing performance of daily responsibilities
  • Manage high volumes of requests, prioritizing and efficiently processing them to make effort transparent and service seamless
  • Appropriately and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization internally and externally
  • Effectively and constructively meet regular deadlines
  • Create a hospitable tone in the environment which facilitates the optimal customer service environment
  • Expedite follow up or initiate conversations which will promote the image of the school
  • Inquire effectively and provide family data on inquiries and prospective families, upon initial inquiry, and provide it to the Director of Admission and Admission Assistant Directors
  • Assist in the coordination and communication of open houses, group and individual tours
  • Successfully analyze and compile date to provide feedback on best practices and potential goals.
  • Comply with conditions as stated in employee contract and handbook
  • Model appropriate Christian behavior in speech and actions
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Admission
