Afternoon Yard Foreman

We're looking for a Yard Foreman to join our growing, passionate team! This role operates out of our Congers, NY headquarters, and is for the afternoon shift (start times vary from 11am to 3pm). The Yard Foreman will maintain an organized facility and will identify/organize daily scheduled runs for the outdoor installations department, ensuring a seamless execution. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving exterior deliveries that arrive at the Congers facility: checking the quantity/quality of plants delivered.


• Grouping plant material together that is scheduled for each Installation run scheduled the following day. This also includes hard goods, soil and mulch.


• Tracking extra or backordered materials, and advise/work closely with the Outdoor Purchaser.


• Daily maintenance of all in-stock plant material. This includes pruning, fertilizing, watering, and unwrapping any plant material that may be tied up.


• Working closely with the Yard Supervisor and Yard Foreman to ensure excellent organization, communication and quality control.


• Driving company trucks to pick up material from local vendors as directed by Outdoor Purchasing .


• 
  Oversee the daily operations of the Exterior Facility Crew Members: supervise and delegate tasks accordingly.


• Valid driver's license required.
