Ag Lender

Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a $7B bank in North Central Indiana in the search for an Agricultural Lender.

The bank is seeking a relationship-focused lender who understands the unique needs of ag clients and is motivated to build and expand a robust loan portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow an agricultural loan portfolio through active business development and community engagement.
• Originate and structure a variety of ag-related loans, including operating lines, equipment financing, and real estate transactions.
• Maintain and expand existing client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and collateral to assess creditworthiness.
• Partner with credit teams to ensure sound underwriting and timely loan approvals.
• Monitor portfolio performance and maintain strong credit quality.
• Represent the bank in the local agricultural community and industry events.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Agricultural or Commercial Lending experience.
• Strong understanding of agricultural operations and lending structures.
• Proven ability in business development and relationship management.
• Solid credit analysis and financial assessment skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
