About the Role

We are seeking motivated, entrepreneurial individuals to join our team as Agency Sales Producers. This role offers more than a sales opportunity—it’s a starting point toward future agency ownership. As an Agency Sales Producer, you'll work under the guidance of Darian Taliaferro, an experienced agency owner, to learn the essentials of building and managing a successful insurance business. You’ll receive comprehensive training in sales, client relationships, operations, and leadership, setting you up for eventual agency ownership.

While helping clients protect what matters most—across Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Specialty lines—you’ll expand your knowledge, build confidence, and grow your own client base, preparing you for future agency leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a client base through networking, prospecting, and community involvement

• Provide personalized insurance guidance, tailoring solutions to individual client needs

• Build lasting client relationships by maintaining regular communication and conducting policy reviews

• Meet and exceed sales goals, emphasizing long-term customer satisfaction

• Learn and apply the operational and strategic aspects of managing an insurance agency

• Stay current on industry trends and Farmers Insurance products

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities

• Entrepreneurial drive and desire for agency ownership

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

• Willingness to obtain (or current possession of) state insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life & Health)
