Primary Responsibilities:

Champion Agile Methodologies : Spearhead the adoption and integration of agile methodologies across projects, leveraging creative problem-solving to overcome implementation challenges and ensuring teams fully embrace agile principles and practices.

Strategic Project Planning and Execution : Develop comprehensive project plans infused with innovative approaches, setting ambitious yet achievable goals, and orchestrating flawless execution while managing project timelines, scope, and resources with agility and foresight.

Dynamic Stakeholder Engagement : Cultivate robust communication channels between stakeholders, skillfully navigating diverse perspectives, and aligning stakeholders' interests with project goals, fostering transparency, trust, and consensus across all levels of the organization.

Expert Scrum Mastery : Assume the role of Scrum Master for multiple agile teams, orchestrating agile ceremonies with finesse, inspiring teams to continuously improve through insightful facilitation of daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Empowerment and Innovation Cultivation : Foster a culture of self-organization and innovation within agile teams, encouraging autonomy, creativity, and relentless pursuit of excellence, while nurturing an environment conducive to collaboration, experimentation, and breakthrough thinking.

Proactive Risk Management : Anticipate, assess, and mitigate project risks with proactive problem-solving, applying strategic foresight to identify potential obstacles and dependencies, and implementing preemptive measures to ensure project success and resilience.

Elevated Quality Assurance : Set the bar for excellence in product or service delivery, driving adherence to rigorous quality standards and practices within agile teams, championing a culture of continuous testing, refinement, and feedback to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Strategic Metrics and Reporting : Define, analyze, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to provide actionable insights into project progress and team performance, delivering compelling status updates and reports tailored to stakeholders' needs and expectations.

Iterative Continuous Improvement: Lead reflective retrospectives and knowledge-sharing sessions to stimulate continuous improvement initiatives within agile teams and across projects, fostering a culture of relentless innovation, adaptability, and excellence.

Collaborative Leadership : Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team environment, embodying servant leadership principles to inspire and empower agile teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and collective ownership of project outcomes.

Agile Coaching and Mentorship : Provide expert guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members and stakeholders, nurturing their growth and development in agile principles, practices, and mindsets, fostering a community of agile excellence and lifelong learning.

Cutting-Edge Tool and Process Innovation : Evaluate, recommend, and implement cutting-edge agile tools and processes to optimize project management practices, enhance team productivity, and stay ahead of industry best practices and emerging trends in agile methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field with 8-12 years of prior relevant experience in project management, focusing on agile methodologies... or a Master's degree in a relevant field with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience in project management, focusing on agile methodologies.

Alternatively, candidates may substitute a Bachelor’s degree with an additional 4 years of relevant experience, alongside 8-12 years of prior experience in project management with a focus on agile methodologies.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

SECRET required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI

Proven experience leading agile projects, utilizing frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean Agile.

Demonstrated ability to implement and refine agile processes and best practices within project teams.

Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.

Experience in managing complex projects with cross-functional teams and tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving project objectives

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions

Sound decision-making abilities, with a focus on balancing risks and opportunities to drive project success.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to adjust project plans and strategies based on evolving business needs and feedback.

Understanding of software development processes and technologies, with the ability to engage with technical teams to facilitate project delivery.

Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and teamwork within project teams, promoting a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong understanding and knowledge of the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) enterprise architecture, processes, and technologies.

Prior experience working with DCGS or similar intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems is highly preferred.

Knowledge of the structure, mission, and operations of the Air Combat Command (ACC) and the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (480th ISR).

Previous experience supporting ACC or 480th ISR missions or projects is advantageous.

Prior experience working within or supporting the United States Air Force (USAF) or other military branches is preferred.

Familiarity with USAF operational procedures, protocols, and requirements is beneficial.

Possession of an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is highly preferred.

Candidates with existing TS/SCI clearance will be given priority consideration.

Experience managing agile projects within government contracts, particularly in the defense or intelligence sectors, is desirable.

Understanding of government contracting processes, regulations, and compliance requirements is advantageous.

Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration in complex project environments.

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including military personnel, government officials, and contractors.

Proven ability to navigate security-critical environments and make sound decisions under pressure.

Experience identifying and mitigating security risks and ensuring compliance with relevant security protocols and procedures.

Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to evolving technologies, methodologies, and operational requirements within the defense and intelligence domains.

Ability to stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to ISR systems and agile project management.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
