Agribusiness Credit Officer - Internal only

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The Agribusiness Credit Officer analyzes and provides written recommendations for credit decisions based on financial information and projections.

Responsibilities include:

Analyzing financial statements and projections

Reviewing loan requests for eligibility and compliance

Recommending loan terms and covenants

Drafting credit narratives to assess financial strength

Participating in Loan Committee discussions and votes

Supporting special projects in Agribusiness, Capital Markets, and Credit

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Require a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, finance or agribusiness. 1 year credit analysis and decision-making experience or completion of Credit Training Program Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job

The ideal candidate must possess a general knowledge and understanding of financial statements and accounting principles, credit analysis, ag economics, and farming practices. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Skilled in reading and understanding income statements, balance sheets, and other financial report, analyzing information to formulate logical and objective conclusions, gathering, compiling and organizing information, and writing concise, logical, grammatically correct analytical reports to explain credit determination
