Job Title: Agricultural Engineer
Location: Preferred location is Jacksonville, Florida. However, locations within the territory of Georgia, and South Carolina will be considered if qualifications are matched.
Position Type: Hybrid, Full-Time
Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 annually depending on qualifications (P.E./relevant experience)

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Agricultural Engineer to join our team.
This entry-level management position offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to
work with experienced team members. You will play a critical role in servicing our
agricultural clients across the Southeast and East Coast, focusing on regulatory
permitting, compliance, and facility design for dairy and egg layer operations. This
hybrid role includes some travel, with expenses covered.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to deliver engineering services
• Engage with clients and regulatory agencies at state and federal levels
• Design and perform engineering calculations
• Develop detailed construction plans and specifications
• Assist in crafting permit applications such as Water Use Permits and
  Environmental Resource Permits
• Prepare proposals, spreadsheets, and comprehensive engineering reports
• Conduct site visits and perform field investigations
  
  Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCADs Civil 3D and/or GIS software is a plus
• Engineer in Training certification
• Skilled in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated, quick learner, and enthusiastic team player
• Ability to set and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently
• Generalist with complementary skills

Additional Information

• 2+ years of experience, preferably in a professional engineering firm.
• Some overnight travel required (approximately 3 days per month), along with
