Position Requirements:

• BA or MA and New York State Certification in Biology, Earth Science or Chemistry, etc. required; experience in autism preferred. Salaries based off of education attainments.

Role Description:

• Full Time | Monday-Friday
• Hours: 8:00 A.M-3:00 P.M
• 10 month calendar with a 30 day summer session
• Develop and implement individualized person-centered teaching plans.
• Provide general education Regents curriculum instruction in a special education high school.
• Prepares daily lesson plans, in advance and on an individual basis, geared towards the program participants’ learning style and level of academic functioning.
• Collaborate with other instructors when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $79,760 - $81,411 per year

• Providing program participants the opportunity for academic enrichment through the improvement of Science.

• BA or MA is Education/Special Education
• NYS Certification in Science is required; Generalist Certification I Grade 7-12 is a plus. Salaries commensurate upon education attainments.
