AI Product Manager, Nicosia

Emerald Zebra Recruitment is hiring an AI Product Manager for their client in Nicosia, a growing fintech company that is expanding and hiring talented professionals to join its dynamic team on-site.

About the Role

As the AI Product Manager you will lead the integration of a third-party AI-powered video analytics service into their existing React/Next.js web application. You will own the product roadmap for AI-driven feature development, ensure compliance with governance standards, and act as the technical liaison between our engineering team and the AI service provider.

Key Responsibilities

AI Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and execute the product roadmap for integrating third-party AI video analytics capabilities into our web app.
• Prioritize features based on technical feasibility, user needs, and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, design, and compliance teams to deliver AI-powered features on schedule. Third-Party AI Service Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendors AI engineering team to ensure seamless integration of their APIs/services.
• Translate technical requirements (eg: model outputs, data formats) into actionable tasks for our React/Next.js developers.
• Monitor performance of AI models (accuracy, latency) and advocate for improvements with the service provider.    Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Ensure AI features comply with regulatory standards (GDPR, CCPA) and ethical guidelines (bias mitigation, data privacy).
• Audit third-party AI services for transparency, fairness, and security.
• Document compliance processes and maintain audit trails for all AI-driven features.            Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with vendor team to troubleshoot integration issues and optimize AI performance.
• Partner with internal legal, security, and compliance teams to address risks related to AI adoption. User-Centric AI Development
• Validate AI feature usability with end-users and stakeholders.
• Define KPIs to measure impact (eg: fraud reduction, efficiency gains).

Your Qualifications

• Technical Skills:
• 3+ years in AI/ML product management, with experience integrating third-party AI/APIs into web apps.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML workflows (data pipelines, model outputs, API integration).
• Familiarity with React/Next.js and modern web app architecture.

• Compliance Expertise:
• Proven experience implementing AI governance frameworks and auditing third-party AI services.
• Knowledge of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and ethical AI practices.

• Product Management:
• Track record of shipping B2B/B2C SaaS products with embedded AI/ML capabilities.
• Agile/Scrum proficiency (Jira, Confluence, sprint planning).

• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional communication skills to translate technical AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage relationships with external vendors/partners.

• Education:
• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Certifications in AI ethics (eg: IAPP, Responsible AI) are a plus.
