AI Security Architect (Contractor)

We are building the industry's most advanced AI-driven Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform, combining secure connectivity, AI-powered security, and intelligent automation to redefine how enterprises protect and operate their critical infrastructure.

We are seeking an experienced AI Security Architect to lead the design and development of AI-driven security analytics, threat detection, and observability capabilities for customer-facing AI security products. This role will architect large-scale streaming data systems that leverage AI to identify threats, automate investigations, and provide real-time security intelligence across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in distributed systems, real-time data processing, cybersecurity, and modern AI technologies, with experience building production systems that operate at enterprise scale.

Reports To:

Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop AI-powered security capabilities for enterprise customers.


• Design real-time data pipelines for ingesting and analyzing security telemetry at scale.


• Build AI-driven threat detection, anomaly detection, and security analytics services.


• Develop secure AI agents and guardrails for customer-facing security workflows.


• Design scalable observability and security intelligence platforms.


• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to deliver production AI security solutions.


• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and establish architectural standards and best practices.


• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams on AI and distributed systems architecture.

Core Competencies:

• Expertise in distributed systems and real-time streaming architectures.


• Strong background in cybersecurity, threat detection, and observability platforms.


• Experience designing AI-powered security and analytics solutions.


• Deep knowledge of Kafka, Flink, Spark, and event-driven architectures.


• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and AI guardrail frameworks.


• Strong software architecture and performance optimization skills.


• Ability to build highly scalable, low-latency enterprise platforms.


• Excellent collaboration, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Experience:

• 10+ years of software engineering or systems architecture experience.


• Experience building large-scale distributed systems and streaming data platforms.


• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Apache Flink, Spark, or similar streaming technologies.


• Experience developing AI-powered security, observability, or analytics platforms.


• Experience with LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, and production AI applications.


• Strong programming experience in Java, Scala, Python, or Go.


• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, and microservices.


• Experience building enterprise security products or cybersecurity platforms is highly desirable.


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
