We are currently searching for a highly motivated IAQ Technician for our busy Tampa location.

Acree is looking for an Indoor Air Quality Technician to join our growing HVAC Division. Use your HVAC Technician experience to specialize in providing IAQ solutions. You will help our customers live more comfortable lives by performing duct cleanings, duct sealing, insulation installation, and other related services.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Follow Acree’s Service System approach to ensure a best-in-class customer experience resulting in great online reviews, referrals, and repeat customers
• Provide subject matter expertise on the topic of indoor air quality, with a focus on environmental health, epidemiology, and particulate matter
• Seal ductwork using an Aeroseal machine and computer system
• Clean & sterilize HVAC duct systems with an Abatement Technologies machine with attached camera
• Educate customers about system improvements and other IAQ products
• Perform weekly maintenance on equipment
• Partner with helper to complete all work, and provide necessary IAQ training
• Meet individual productivity goals and contribute to the team and branch objectives, achieving the core KPIs (key performance indicators)
• Maintain the appropriate dress code and a clean and professional appearance at all times to represent the company in the best possible manner
• Attend training and team meetings as requested

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
• Eager and enthusiastic about SALES and selling home services
• Excellent organization, planning, and follow-through abilities
• Take great pride in going the extra mile for our customers
• Strong customer service skills (active listening, relationship building, etc.)
• Willingness to work rotating Saturdays
• Providing accurate and timely invoicing, timesheets, and other daily paperwork
• Undergo a criminal background check and drug screen
• Ability to maintain a good driving record that corresponds with insurance coverage

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Lift, transport, and adjust heavy objects (75-100 lbs.) which may also come in contact with sharp, hot, and/or very cold supplies and equipment
• Safe and courteous driving at all times
• Exposure to the sounds associated with power tools, dust, and other debris
• Work is performed in residential homes and service may be performed in confined areas. Frequent bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, and reaching is required
• Ability to be trained and effectively use an electronic tablet to conduct business

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

• 1+ years of HVAC experience (Aeroseal and Duct Cleaning experience preferred)

Compensation:

• $22-28/hr + commission
