Air Technician

One Way Safety, a Paradigm HSE company, is hiring an Air Technician!  Join our team in La Grange, Illinois and build a career maintaining and servicing high- and low-pressure breathing air equipment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high and low-pressure breathing air equipment (regulators, airlines, reducers, manifolds, air packs, cascade systems, air trailers, and air compressors).


• Documentation: Process and manage all customer-related paperwork accurately following equipment inspections and servicing.

Educational Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.

Experience & Certifications

• 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Comprehensive training will be provided.


• OSHA 10 Certification is required.


• Experience working in a plant or refinery environment is preferred (especially within the chemical or oil & gas sectors), but not required.

Screening Requirements

• Ability to pass a mandatory Drug & Alcohol Test and comprehensive background screening.


• Clean driving record accompanied by a valid Driver’s License or State ID.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Heavy Lifting: Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds to chest level, and lift/move up to 10 pounds above head height.


• Stamina & Agility: Able to stand for undetermined amount of time .
