Our client is seeking a highly qualified A&P Mechanic to join a well-established general aviation company and FAA-certified Part 145 Repair Station. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general aviation aircraft, demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, and work well with flight crews, leadership, and fellow technicians.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position offering career stability, growth opportunities, and a family-oriented workplace culture—all in a scenic location just 25 miles from Scranton with easy access to NYC and Philadelphia.
Base/Locations:
KMPO – Pocono Mountains Municipal Airport (Tobyhanna, PA)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft.
Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair airframe and powerplant systems.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
Collaborate with flight crews and leadership to ensure aircraft readiness and safety.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and company policies.
Assist with aircraft movement and coordination with Line Service and FBO operations.
Support training and mentoring of junior technicians as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid FAA A&P License required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
3+ years of hands-on experience maintaining general or business aviation aircraft.
Familiarity with piston and turbine engines; PT6 experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of aircraft such as Piper, Cessna, and Beechcraft.
Strong understanding of FAA maintenance procedures and documentation.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
