Job Description
Resicum International, LLC. is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic III – Air Frame personnel to support MH-60R/S aircraft Organizational-Level Maintenance operations at NAS Key West, Florida.
Aircraft Mechanic III Air Frame personnel perform advanced scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, structural repair, component replacement, and modifications on MH-60R/S aircraft.
Mechanic III personnel must be capable of troubleshooting complex aircraft discrepancies, interpreting technical documentation, prioritizing workloads, and providing technical guidance to lower-level mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MH-60R/S aircraft.
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and modifications.
- Maintain and repair MH-60R/S airframe and structural components.
- Perform structural and sheet-metal repairs and modifications as assigned.
- Maintain flight controls, landing gear, mechanical systems, and associated components.
- Troubleshoot airframe and mechanical system discrepancies.
- Interpret MH-60R/S technical publications, maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical directives.
- Perform component removal, installation, inspection, and replacement.
- Apply technical knowledge to determine aircraft system malfunctions.
- Restore aircraft systems and components to required operating condition.
- Use aircraft-specific tools, support equipment, and test equipment.
- Support aircraft inspections and maintenance requirements.
- Support corrosion prevention and control.
- Support aircraft preservation and de-preservation.
- Make required aircraft logbook and maintenance record entries.
- Support aircraft movement and flight-line operations.
- Support aircraft detachments as required.
- Support SAR maintenance operations when directed.
- Provide technical guidance to lower-level mechanics.
- Inspect work performed by lower-level mechanics as authorized.
- Support CDI/CDQAR and Technical Directive Compliance programs.
- Participate in emergency drills and aircraft movement or salvage operations when directed.
- Perform all work in accordance with applicable Navy maintenance procedures, technical manuals, technical directives, and local instructions.
