Aircraft Parts Coordinator – Teterboro, NJ
Our client is seeking an Aircraft Parts Coordinator for one of our valued clients in Teterboro, NJ. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support aviation operations by managing aircraft parts, materials, and inventory processes in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As an Aircraft Parts Coordinator, you will oversee parts purchasing, inventory tracking, and logistics for aircraft maintenance needs. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchase aircraft parts, components, and materials to support operations, including AOG requests, routine stocking, and fleet provisioning
Perform receiving inspections on incoming inventory in accordance with company maintenance manuals
Maintain organized storage areas for parts, tools, and shipping/receiving operations. Ensure proper tagging, segregation, and inventory management
Expedite, ship, and track parts/material shipments efficiently
Identify, classify, and manage hazardous material shipments per company policies and CFR regulations
Process warranty claims for applicable programs
Update and maintain inventory tracking systems (TotalFBO, CAMP, and/or Corridor preferred)
Monitor and track exchange cores, ensuring prompt return to vendors
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Materials Supervisor or leadership
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or GED
Strong customer service mindset
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proven negotiation, analytical, and project management abilities
Ability to work in varied climate conditions and moderate noise levels
Valid driver’s license with ability to operate company vehicles and rental cars when traveling
Preferred:
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Forklift experience or qualifications
1+ years of industry experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 70 lbs and bend, stand, and squat for extended periods
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary for this role ranges from $25.00/hour to $28.00/hour, with additional discretionary annual incentives based on performance.
