We operate over 150 dedicated cargo aircraft, including the Saab 340B, Embraer 120, Fairchild SA227, Beechcraft 1900, and Beechcraft 99 from bases across the United States.

Basic Duties

• Pay range is $19-$24 per hour depending on experience
• Perform all manner of maintenance on Ameriflight aircraft in accordance with company policy, manufacturer’s recommendations and Federal Aviation Regulations; (CRS) the component repair station, accomplish airframe structural repairs and/or alterations, to include the installation of antennas, doublers, radios, racks, instruments and equipment
• Document work completed per company procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations
• Manufacture or repair sheet metal items in accordance with written instructions, blueprints or engineering drawings
• Read and interpret written instructions, blueprints or engineering drawings accurately
• Accurately and legibly record each maintenance or alteration on the proper repair station and/or customer supplied forms (to include signature or initials)
• Maintain records such as work order documentation, logs, and time & material records
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• FAA repair station experience preferred
• Prior experience in aircraft structural maintenance and repair
• Be competent and experienced in the use of metal shears & metal brakes
• Experience performing composite bonded repairs preferred
• Experience with repairs cosmetic in nature to aircraft cabin interiors preferred
• Experience within a fast-paced, scheduled maintenance operation
• May be required to operate company provided vehicles. Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet all company insurance criteria

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be eligible to work in US
• High School diploma/GED required. Minimum of Associates Degree preferred
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and be able to communicate effectively with other employees
• Must be able to interpret documents such as policy, repair and safety manuals
• Must be able to work various shifts
• Positive disposition, professional attitude, professional appearance
• Ability to obtain airport access badge
• Successful completion of pre-employment required DOT drug screening and other required background checks
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License and meet all company insurance criteria

Physical Requirements

• Must be willing and able to travel
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• May travel for training, to repair aircraft in the field, and to provide temporary support for other bases
• May work outdoors, in weather as necessary
• May work in close proximity to moving aircraft and machinery
• May work in a potentially noisy work environment
