Job Description:

Silver Creek Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to engage our seniors in a variety of activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with the elderly and a talent for creating inspiring and enjoyable experiences that promote both mental and physical well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and implement engaging activities for seniors that encourage participation and social interaction.

- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes community involvement among residents.

- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure a diverse range of activities that cater to the interests and abilities of all residents.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as necessary to enhance resident engagement.

- Maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere during all activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience working with seniors or in a related field is preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Compassionate and patient demeanor.

- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends.
