Activity Director - Senior Living Facility

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activity Director to join our team at a reputable senior living facility. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, plan, and implement a variety of recreational activities and therapeutic programs tailored to residents' interests and needs

- Coordinate and lead group activities, outings, and special events to foster community engagement

- Assess residents' interests, abilities, and needs to create personalized activity plans

- Collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure activities support residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being

- Maintain activity supplies and equipment, ensuring safety and accessibility

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs, making adjustments as necessary

- Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and social interaction among residents

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in activity planning, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or related settings

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging activities

- Ability to assess individual needs and adapt programs accordingly

- Knowledge of therapeutic activities and techniques suitable for seniors

- Organizational skills and attention to detail

- Certification in activity coordination, recreation therapy, or related fields is a plus

- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards residents
