Alignment Shop Technician

Position Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Alignment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in front-end suspension repair, as well as performing precision wheel alignments on a wide range of vehicles. You’ll ensure every vehicle drives straight, handles safely, and meets manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform two-wheel and four-wheel alignments using modern alignment equipment.

• Repair suspension and steering components, including ball joints, control arms, tie rods, bushings, and shocks/struts.

• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, steering, and suspension issues.

• Adjust camber, caster, and toe settings to factory or custom alignment specifications.

• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors and customers regarding recommended repairs.

• Maintain alignment equipment and ensure calibration accuracy.

• Road-test vehicles to confirm repair quality and handling performance.

• Adhere to all safety and shop policies.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an Alignment or Suspension Technician (automotive or light truck).

• Strong knowledge of front-end and suspension systems.

• Proficiency with alignment machines (Hunter, John Bean, Hofmann, etc.).

• Ability to perform front-end part replacement efficiently and accurately.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• ASE Certification (Suspension & Steering A4) preferred, but not required.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Standing, bending, and working under vehicles for extended periods.

• Comfortably operate lifts, jacks, and power tools safely.
