Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Alignment Technician responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicle alignment and suspension systems to ensure optimal performance. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

As an Alignment Technician, you will:

• Inspect tires, measure tread depth, and perform wheel alignments using computerized machines
• Diagnose and repair alignment and suspension issues
• Recommend repairs based on inspection findings
• Install new tires as needed and take ownership of tire removal/replacement
• Complete work orders and related paperwork accurately
• Maintain professional relationships with team members and customers
• Follow all safety policies and participate in required training
• Ensure work meets company quality standards

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years as an Alignment Shop Technician
• Education:High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
• Licensing/Certification:Valid Driver’s License required; ASE/TIA Certification or willingness to train preferred

Additional Qualifications:

• CDL is a plus
• Mechanic experience is a plus and can result in commission opportunities

Skills & Abilities

• Experience using Hunter alignment equipment
• Experience with front-end work, brakes, semi-alignments, and passenger vehicle alignments
• Ability to safely operate all related auto and truck shop tools and equipment
• Customer-focused with high energy and positive attitude
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Full range of body movements including bending, stretching, and lifting
• Must be able to lift up to 250 lbs and assist with moving tire shop materials
• Use of all five senses with specific vision abilities for close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Working Conditions

Primarily indoors with occasional outdoor work in varying environments and temperatures; moderate to high noise levels.
