• Setting: outpatient
  


• Allergist develops personalized treatment plans based on a consultation, review of medical history, and diagnostics to manage conditions like environmental allergies, food allergies, asthma, and more
  


• Use of specialized testing, including skin prick tests, patch tests, and blood tests, to pinpoint specific allergies
  


• Administration of immunotherapy (allergy shots)
  


• Education of patients on trigger avoidance
  

Allergist Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  


• At least two years of specialized training in an ACGME-accredited Allergy/Immunology program
  


• Board certification or eligibility by the ABAI
  


• Valid New Mexico medical license
