Alterations Associate

Benzinger’s Clothing Care is seeking a skilled and motivated Alterations Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with solid sewing experience who can contribute to a team and is interested in continuing to perfect their craft.

What You’ll Do:

• Complete basic to moderately complex repairs and alterations on garments and household items


• Assist with fittings and take accurate measurements


• Operate sewing machines, manual tools, and pressing equipment


• Record and interpret alteration instructions in our system


• Collaborate with customer service staff to ensure client satisfaction


• Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs


• Maintain quality, fit, and proportions in all alterations

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with sewing tools and machines, and ability to perform basic to intermediate alterations


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail


• Willingness to learn more advanced techniques and grow into a specialist role
