Job Description - AM Barback

Inspired by the simplicity and warmth of bistros found within Paris' iconic and charming neighborhoods like Montmarte and La Marais, Chardon showcases the best of local ingredients through authentic French cooking. Each dish reflects the artistry of tradition paired with the vibrancy of Houston’s rich culinary landscape. With its warm, relaxed ambiance and understated elegance, Chardon offers a dining experience that feels equally suited for a spontaneous weeknight meal or a leisurely evening with friends.

Our Ideal candidate is:

A motivated beverage professional who is organized, friendly, and professional. You will be an integral part of our bar team with a passion for beverage and varied experience in the restaurant industry. You have amazing attention to detail, work well as part of a team, and work well under pressure. You have a strong desire to learn and grow as a beverage professional.

What you bring to the table:

1-3 years’ experience in a fine dining or casual fine dining high volume bar or restaurant
Daytime availability
Exceptional communication skills
Strong beverage knowledge
Ability to learn and retain information quickly
Intellectual curiosity
Ability to work clean, organized, and as part of a team
Ability to move and lift 40 pounds at a time
Are the minimum age to serve alcohol
Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
