Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is laser-focused on creating a bridge between Amazon Business product/tech teams and the AB Sales organization. This role will identify pre-launch enablement activities to ensure our sellers are best positioned to support their customers as new features and capabilities are available. This role earns trust through performance and relationship building, looks around corners to preempt business challenges, and applies their experience in B2B sales to assist the AB Sales organization in meeting its business objectives. The right candidate should apply strong judgment and backbone as an advocate for our sales teams’ needs, be capable of navigating ambiguity and complexity, and demonstrate influence without explicit authority.

We are looking for an Enablement Lead who will work with our Product/Tech teams to:
• Audit existing processes and mechanisms for sales and product teams to exchange information such as upcoming launches, features/benefits, and the voice of the customer.
• Attend product team roadmap meetings and identify upcoming needs for the sales team.
• Identify, design, and implement new opportunities for information sharing such as content libraries, training and communications assets, and leadership panels.
• Lead executive and/or stakeholder sessions to define and design desired end state; build consensus on priorities, KPIs, and near/mid-term activities to achieve that vision. Identify risks and impacts and corresponding mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive engagement and enablement plan that reflects the what, when, why, and how of the programs/assets designed to enable the field, while providing updates to business leaders to ensure ongoing alignment and outcomes
• Develop and apply governance tools for priority changes that will impact the organization using metrics and data to make a sound decision.
• Drive awareness and adoption of new programs/assets at all levels of the organization through communication and engagement best practices; identify the appropriate mechanisms and people to advocate and implement desired changes
• Responsible for the cycle of creating and posting content, iterating based on feedback, and reinforcing in exec events (written and verbal)
• Focus on seller experience to ensure programs are tailored to meet varied tenure, industry, and development requirements
• Regular cadence of feedback and reviews of initiatives with sales leaders and managers

The preferred location for this position is Arlington, VA (HQ2). Will also consider candidates in Austin, TX.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Arlington, VA, USA | Austin, TX, USA
7+ years of experience in a senior/management role in Business Planning, Strategy, Change Management, Communications, and/or Sales Enablement.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field.

Exhibits sound business judgment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior stakeholders.

10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role in Business Planning, Strategy, Change Management, Communications, and/or Sales Enablement.

Experience working within a lean, high-growth, technology company.

Proven experience in building along with strong business-process design experience.

Experience leading the development of new processes and mechanisms.
