The Ambulatory Analyst will work to design, configure, and test application functions for OAH. Attention to detail is critical in this position. The successful candidate will enjoy helping others learn and adopt usage of the application.
Responsibilities:
· Facilitates the design, development, system configuration, implementation, and support of information systems for the organization.
· Understands the operational issues within their application area well enough to represent their user’s needs.
· Plans, develops, trains, implements, and evaluates application functionality.
· Works with the team and key customers to ensure proper development, training, and implementation of application functionality.
· Collaborates and consults with the application director, project manager, and other team leaders to coordinate activities.
· Assists in the development and documentation of internal policies and procedures that will be used in conjunction with the application.
· Creates tip sheets when needed
· Builds effective relationships with clinical and business partners through all the phases of projects to support completing goals.
· Provides “elbow-to-elbow” support to providers and clinical staff when needed
· Contributes to the preparation and execution of testing scripts and materials and performs unit, system, and integrated testing tasks.
· Documents and maintains all required system design and build documents and configures system accordingly.
· Creates tickets and escalates issues to the EPIC Community Connect team for review.
· Remains up to date with EPIC changes and upgrades
· Maintains EPIC Ambulatory Certification; obtains additional certification as needed by OAH.
· Able to attend required EPIC training at the EPIC training center.
· Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
· EPIC Ambulatory Certification.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a Healthcare environment required.
Preferred Experience
· Experience with clinical applications.
· Clinical information system management experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting.
