Responsibilities
Job Summary:
PACU experience required; at least 1 year of dedicated PACU experience within the past 3 years.
- Location: Bakersfield, CA
- Certs required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Common Cases: General surgery, GYN, Robotics, Podiatry, Ortho, Urology, Vascular
- Experience or "Must have" skills: Preop/ambulatory experience and PACU experience,
- Ambulatory recovers OP and IR pts post op for phase 2.
- Weekend requirement: no weekends
- Call requirements: no call
- Floating requirements: Yes, to PACU
- General Facility Requirements (testing/experience):
- MUST have at least 1-year of recent acute experience in their
- specialty
- EKG interpretation mandatory for all Periop RN, including OR RN.
- EMR: Cerner
- Medication Dispensing System: Omnicell
- brand Cardiac Monitors: Phillips
- brand IV pumps: Alaris
- PICC & midlines from 730a-430p M-F & on-call on weekends
- General Facility Orientation: 3 days of general hospital orientation.
- Training on TEAM
- (timekeeping system) is done during orientation.--5 days of orientation between new hire orientation and pathway education requirements
